During his tenure as chairman of 德州2021十大正规彩票app经纪人®, Nichols was instrumental in the association’s activity during the 75th 德州 Legislature. That session included passage of a key 状态wide home equity law that continues to provide strong protections for 德州 homeowners today. The association also helped defeat bills that would have taxed real e状态 commissions and commercial leases.
As chairman of the Houston Association of REALTORS® in 1991, Nichols was influential in expanding and improving MLS services. He volunteered in countless roles at the local, 状态, and national levels and received numerous industry awards, including 德州 REALTOR® of the Year in 2001 and the NAR 2017 Federal Political Coordinator Meritorious Service Award.
